I started dancing in my grandparents house, at kindergarten celebrations and in community centers, despite the inflation, grayness and uncertainties of late 90’ in Serbia (or because of it?) I was trained in ballet in Belgrade and then in Munich, after receiving a scholarship at the Ballett Akademie Die Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. In 2014 I became a member of the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich and after summers filled with courses and workshops with teachers from Rosas and Ultima Vez, moved to Nuremberg Ballet in 2016 and later to Hessisches Staatsballett, where I performed works by Damien Jalet, Sharon Eyal, Hofesh Sechter, Jiri Kylian, Willi Dorner, Xie Xin and William Forsythe, amongst others.
Since 2023. I'm freelancing as a performer, teacher and choreographer.
My choreography was performed on stages in Nuremberg, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Belgrade, and Victoria, as well as in a gallery spaces (such as Kunst Haus and Bellvue Saal in Wiesbaden)
I believe that creation is always relational—a collective act of discovery where the outcome remains unknown, offering above all, an opportunity to wonder. Previously I collaborated with Sara Stevanovic, Jorge Moro, Meilyn Kennedy, Manon Andral, Lena Kunz, Kerem Ozan Baryaktar. I'm forever grateful for their artistry and friendship.
Alongside work in and with dance field, together with artist Nadja Kracunovic I teach at art summer camp for teenagers. We are interested in emerging pedagogies and education as artistic practice.
l hold BA degree in journalism and media studies at FMK Belgrade. At the moment, my education continues within MA in New Performative Practices at the Stockholm University of the Arts.
Danas newspaper and beforeafter.rs (English translation) published my journalistic work previously.
